A little about meThanks again for visiting the website. Greg and I do appreciate you being here! Let me give you a little background information about myself.
Before moving to Drum in September 2019, I taught at Sunset Primary for six years. Prior to teaching PE, I was a fourth-grade teacher for four years. I am really grateful for my time in the general education classroom. It sure taught me a lot of great things. However, my heart has always been in Health and Physical Education, so I feel blessed to be able to teach it to my students. I was born and raised in North Yorkshire, England, and first came to the USA in the summer of 2001 to be a camp counselor at YMCA Camp Seymour in Gig Harbor. That position led me to various roles at YMCA Camp Marston in San Diego County, where I spent over three and a half years working with children and families. It was a fantastic experience! I moved back to Washington in the summer of 2005 and currently enjoy life in UP with my wife of 18 years, and our two children, Kaiden (16) and Maya (14). |

Growing up in England, I am a huge football (soccer) fan. I have played soccer for as long as I can remember and still play whenever I can. I am a diehard Man Utd fan and you'll often find me wearing one of their famous red jerseys. I also co-coach my daughter's U14 select soccer team, and I love watching the team develop and progress every year! My daughter has been on the team since kindergarten!
Other hobbies include cooking vegan fare for my family, hiking around the magnificent PNW, and spending time on the water whenever possible, whether it be on a boat, in a kayak, or standing on a paddle board. |
