During the first month of the school year, we spend a lot of time teaching all of our students about the expectations that we have for them while they are with us in the gym. We feel it is very important to make these expectations clear to our students as it sets them up for success in P.E for the rest of the school year. A student's ability to meet these expectations is what determines their personal responsibility grade (daily grade), which accounts for 80% of their overall grade.
All of our students were shown the following video during week two of the school year. The video covers many of the major questions students may have about what to wear, what we do, and how they are graded in P.E at Drum. We encourage you to check it out! The video also talks about our Drum PE Contract that all students will be bringing home during week two of school. We ask that all students and parents/guardians read through the contract together, before signing it and returning it to us in the gym. This is a graded assignment worth 10 points in the gradebook. If your son/daughter has misplaced their P.E contract, you can download another one by clicking on the button below.
